My CD

Before i get to my main point, let me tell you something important: i do not appreciate the ammount of people who wish to make me feel bad by saying things along the lines of, "YOU REALLY, REEEEEALLLLLY MISSED OUT ON SANDY HIIIILLL!" there seems to be no point in this other than to make me regret a descision which is in the past. oddly enough, i think that if it had not been my choice to not go or if i had financial problems or something that prevented me from going, people would be a tad more tactful, i.e., they wouldnt come up to me and say "you missed out! why didnt you go!?!?!?" It seems that they have decided to make my life hell since i made that one decision.basically what i'm trying to say is, STOP IT!!!

okay. now that that's taken care of. i was trying to figure out the perfect song about my life, and unlike my other searches for perfection (guys, clothes, makeup, story plots), i actually found this one. it's called "Breathe [2AM]" by Anna Nalick. The first verse is how i feel about a lot of my friends. the second verse (starting with "yeah, we walk through the doors) is how i feel about school. The fourth verse is how i feel about matt (yes, matt; i'm not going to bother with that "a certain someone" crap anymore. the only reason i was doing that was because i didnt want him to know, and he's going to know by tonight. anyone else, i don't care). the fifth and sixth verses are basically how i feel about life. so here are the lyrics

2 AM and she calls me 'cause I'm still awake,
"Can you help me unravel my latest mistake?
I don't love him. Winter just wasn't my season"

Yeah we walk through the doors, so accusing their eyes
Like they have any right at all to criticize,
Hypocrites. You're all here for the very same reason.

[Chorus]
Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button, girl.
So cradle your head in your hands
And breathe... just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe

May he turn 21 on the base at Fort Bliss
"Just a Day", he said down to the flask in his fist,
"Ain't been sober, since maybe October of last year."

Here in town you can tell he's been down for a while,
But, my God, it's so beautiful when the boy smiles,
Wanna hold him, maybe I'll just sing about it.

[Chorus]
Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table.
No one can find the rewind button, boys,
So cradle your head in your hands,
And breathe... just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe

There's a light at each end of this tunnel,
You shout 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
And these mistakes you've made, you'll just make them again
If you only try turning around.
2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening the life it belongs to
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to

[Chorus]
But you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button now
Sing it if you understand.
and breathe, just breathe
woah breathe, just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe.
